Bonjour et bienvenue sur le blog TM82ALC.
TM82ALC est l'indicatif spécial temporaire d'une station radioamateur française activée par un groupe d'opérateurs radio de Tarn-et-Garonne à l'occasion du 290 ème anniversaire de la mort d'un grand nom de notre département, Antoine de Lamothe-Cadillac (5 mars 1658 - 16 octobre 1730)
Antoine de Lamothe-Cadillac. Certes, le patronyme fleure bon la Gascogne, mais est-ce une raison suffisante pour intégrer le cercle des célébrités? Non, bien sur, mais la seconde partie du nom vous donne-t-elle peut-être une indication ?
Cadillac.... La prestigieuse marque automobile américaine! Vous y êtes presque....Cadillac, Détroit, "The Motor City". Notre gascon est en effet à l'origine de la fondation de Detroit (Michigan) en 1701. Deux siècles plus tard, dans l'enthousiasme des festivités de la commémoration du bicentenaire de la ville, les associés d'une nouvelle société de construction automobile choisirent de baptiser leur firme "Cadillac" en son honneur. Ils lui empruntèrent également ses armoiries pour en faire le symbole de la nouvelle marque (voir onglet Histoire pour plus de détails).

TM82ALC is the temporary special callsign of a French amateur radio station activated by a group of radio operators from Tarn-et-Garonne on the occasion of the 290th anniversary of the death of the great name of our department, Antoine de Lamothe -Cadillac ( March 5, 1658 - October 16, 1730)
Antoine de Lamothe-Cadillac. Of course, the surname smells of Gascony, but is that a sufficient reason to join the circle of celebrities? No, but does the second part of the name perhaps give you an indication?
Cadillac .... The prestigious American automobile brand! You're almost there .... Cadillac, Detroit, "The Motor City". Our Gascon is indeed at the origin of the founding of Detroit (Michigan) in 1701. Two centuries later, in the enthusiasm of the festivities of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the city, the partners of a new automobile manufacturing company chose to baptize their firm "Cadillac" in his honor. They also borrowed his coat of arms to make it the symbol of the new brand (see History for more details).
